Community Engagement

Global Quarries Australia has implemented an extensive community engagement program to keep local representatives and residents informed about the progress of its quarry application at Marulan.

the company launched a renewed engagement strategy in September 2024 to address changes in project plans, environmental assessments, and to notify the public of the intended Development Application submission by the end of 2024.

Doorknocking. Over 120 businesses and residences have been visited to provide direct project information, gather feedback, and address concerns. Where residents were unavailable, Community Information Notices were left in mailboxes or under doors.
