The Marulan Quarry project has been identified as a State Significant Development by the NSW Government. It’s important to note that this designation is not development consent; instead, it enables the approval pathway for the project to be clearly defined.
As part of the environmental assessment, a comprehensive Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) report is prepared and has been made available for review by the public. The EIS will include scientific studies, assessments and report on issues, including: safety, noise, traffic, air quality, biodiversity, heritage and social impacts. The EIS will also include a series of management measures to help minimise any impacts of the project during both the construction and operational phases.

Key stakeholders and the local community are being engaged during the project - informing them about quarry and inviting direct feedback to help identify any important issues and investigate opportunities to manage concerns.
Public submissions can be made when the EIS is on exhibition. The NSW Government will then thoroughly assess the EIS, any submissions and associated responses by Global Quarries and make its planning determination.
Public Submissions can be made by Visiting HERE and clicking on Make a Submission for further information on how to make a submission visit HERE
